How It Works
The Bait-Pro conventional rod consists of
a hollow reverse tapered rod blank (mounted backwards - larger
taper away
from
the butt) with a
reel seat and butt. At the end of the rod, a donut shaped ferrule
allows unhampered entry and exit of multiple hook rigs. Spinner
has over size conventional taper, but is recommended for smaller
hook size sabiki rigs only.
Mount
your reel in the normal fashion on the reel seat. A levelwind
or closed face reel is recommended. Either reel will work,
but a closed reel eliminates backlash and other line problems
some
novices may encounter when casting.
Feed the supplied wire into
the entry hole in front of the reel and out of the tip of the
rod, tie your line to it and
pull through
the rod blank. After that, just tie a sakibi type rig to
your line, add a sinker and you're ready to catch bait as easy
as
1-2-3.
After
using the Bait-Pro, the sabiki rig is quickly reeled back
into the rod for future use, where it will not get caught
on
anyone or anything.
Have you ever come up on a school of bait, hurried to get
your rod just to find out that your sabiki rig is all entangled
with the other rods or on itself?
The Bait-Pro Rod is always
ready to fish, and ready to cast, the rig is stored inside
the rod, free of contact with any
other lines and rods.
Is the school of bait moving away? Just cast to it. The
Bait-Pro Rod casts beautifully, directly out of the rod,
and the rig
doesn't have the usual tendency to flip and tangle.
At the
end of the day, just remove the butt cap, flush the inside
of the rod with fresh water, shake it out, and
your
Bait-Pro
rod will remain rigged and ready for use.
The Bait-Pro
was designed, patented, and made in the U.S.A.
